Acne scars?

i am of african origin and i have dark spots all over my face. i have tried a lot of products but nothing really works. can i get any ideas of products that really work on acne scars. i reaaly need your help cause i'm loosing hope for a clear and smooth skin.
Acne scars?
These scars are called 'hyperpigmentation'. This is when patches of skin become darker in color than the normal surrounding skin. This happens when an excess of melanin, the brown pigment that produces normal skin color, forms deposits in the skin.

It's easy to get rid.The best and fastest way are skin creams which contain hydroquinone. This lightens and fade darkened skin patches. A good product for hyperpigmenting is Murad spot %26amp; pigment lightening gel. You can get it at sephora.com.

If you'd rather try a natural home remedy, here's a great one that I personally use:

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (aha %26amp; bleaching purposes)

1 small potato - peeled (enzymes)

1/2 small cucumber (cools the skin)

1 tablespoon organic yogurt (lactic acid and bleaching action)

In a blender, combine all ingredients until a spreadable paste is achieved. Apply to the face, neck and chest. Cover with two hot, damp towels and wait 15-20 minutes. Rinse

Vitamin E always works well on scars, it reduces the appearance. Just break one of those capsuls open and rub a little on the areas. It should help reduce it a lot. Also Neosporn I know makes a product that helps reduce the appearance of scars. If those don't work, try going to a dermotologist. They probably know about some things that probably would help more.
Reply:Try www.acne.org...There all kinds of good info there.
Reply:TRY LEMON JUICE FROM A REAL LEMON. APPLY TO FACE AND LET DRY WEAR OVER NIGHT. THEN WASH WITH AN ACNE SOAP THAT CONTROLS THE ACNE BREAKOUTS. YOU CAN DO THIS AT LEAST TWICE A DAY WITHOUT HARMING YOUR SKIN. IF NOT PLEASED WITH RESULTS CONSULT A DERMATOLOGIST. TRY NOT TO PICK THIS SPREADS THE GERMS.
Reply:I have used lemons to fade acne scars on my face. Since lemon is an acid its best to mix with water. What I did was mix 3 parts lemon with 1 part water in a small bottle and after my normal wash (with Cetaphil) I used the mixture like an astringent. It gradually faded over the next few weeks. They are no longer visible unless you are staring in my face and knew they were there. I also did one microdermabrasion a month, and that was just to remove the dead skin cells. I do not like the at-home ones because its hard to get the granules off your face. They range about $95-125. So if you're really serious about having them removed, I'd start with this.
Reply:I bought the Dr. Kern BeautySkin Lamp for my daughter (she also has dark skin) as her acne was making her really depressed. It may seem expensive but it worked for her by reducing and gradually fading the scarring. (Probably cheaper than a course at a salon) I searched the web until I found a good price. Or you could do a course at a salon.

If you want to check it out try www.BeautySkinUSA.com website. The BeautySkin lamp has six 15 watt fluorescent lamps three blue and three red lamps. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Reply:You can rub pineapple on your face to help with scars.

Aveeno sounds like a good product.Maybe you can try beauty shops that supply products especially for African skin.
Reply:I don't think you will get rid of them entirely, If they are scars, but to reduce them dramatically, try using Bio Oil, this is very good for reducing the appearance of scars, I've used it on my daughters face as she had some quite bad chicken pox scars, but having used Bio Oil, they have reduced dramatically, and you can only see them in a certain light.

Its very good, try it.
