Cure for post acne scarring?

i used to have acne, i got rid of all of my pimples, but i still have deppresions in my skin known as "acne scarring" does anybody know of any way to remove these scars, do you know from personal experiences if it works?

go see a dermatologist about a "chemical peel" i promise that it really works. i suffered from acne for about 4 years but i went to a dermatologist and all my pimples are pretty much gone but i had a lot of acne scars so my dermatologist suggested that i get a chemical peel and after a few of them i have no signs of acne on my face. the whole procedure doesn't take more than 10 minutes and it works. good luck :)

yes, just go to a dermatologist and they can give you facial peels and it takes layer from layer off of your skin and after a few times going your scars will be gone. and if you are worried about the money your insurance should pay for it if you have alot of scars.

Reply:It depends on how deep your scars are. If they are not really deep and near the surface of the skin, it will heal by itself but it needs time probably a few months. You can try Merderma which help the scars heal faster.





Eat healthily. Scar healing really also depends on how fast your skin regenerate. Have a diet rich in Vitamin A, C, E and Omega-3 which are important for tissue and skin cells renewal.





Sunlight also does damage to your skin so avoid sunlight as much as possible as sunlight damages the base layer of the skin and cause ageing faster making scars harder to heal.





There are basically 3 kinds of scars, the ice-pick scars, box-shaped scars or the oval kind. Ice-pick scars are suppose to heal faster but it also depends on how deep.
