Would you date a GIRL with ACNE SCARS?

I had always had great skin until about 6 months ago when I suddenly started getting acne. It seemed like every breakout scarred. Most of the scarring is on my chin area with a little on my forehead.





It's not like craters...its just pinkish marks. But I'm really self conscious about it and sometimes I won't even do stuff with my friends because I feel so bad about it.





Mostly, makeup disguises it but I feel like its robbed me of my natural beauty...now I have to wear makeup...it sucks.





But my real question is...


Would you date a girl with acne scars?(guys only plz)





I'm so worried that guys will find that gross or ugly.





I have tried treatments but so far...its not any better.





Please be honest. Other than that I think I'm okay. People say I'm pretty...but the acne has destroyed my self confidence.

also try to understand that guys( or at least me) like girls with confidence too. I know where you are coming from, I used to have real bad acne. but I got over it. You have some scars, so be it. To answer your question, that would not stop me from dating you. It would take more than that.
Reply:Things like this tend to get bigger in your mind than with other people. It is like a zit, it gets as big as an orange in your mind but really is quite small. Try to shuck it off. When the acne passes, and it will, then some quick work by a dermatogist and they will be a thing of the past. Lots of guys would date you if your personality is sunny and friendly. So smile and be nice and go right on, it will pass.. Good luck

Reply:dont let it...most guys barely even notice..theyre to focused on your **** and *** lol...but really if it bothers you use not cakey coverup...i use revlon active its amazing and sweatproof and the opposite of cakey...and its spf25
Reply:Be thankful you still have your health. Thats the least of your worries. You could be burnt or crippled or have cancer.....If all you have is a few scars your still beautiful. Let it go.. Take a look at some really messed up faces like from drunk drivers etc... You wont feel so bad.

Reply:Acne scars are not something based on which I would decide whether I would date or not. In fact, I have even dated a girl who had white spots all across her face. But I dated her because I used to like her a lot. Nothing to do with the external features. Beauty lies within. And this is not something that should make u loose your self confidence.

Reply:I wouldn't find acne scars ugly, yes I would date girl who had them. Besides it's whats on the inside that really counts. Personality can make the hottest girl ugly, and the ugliest the hottest. Just try to be confident, if you meet a guy and he doesn't want to date you cause of something so superficial, than it's his loss. You deserve to find a guy who likes you for who you are!!!!
Reply:i will, as long as she is nice to me, i find out her pretty, scars doesn't matter to me. if she is attractive to me i don't care what the whole world says. i have scars on my face to, not from acne though, so i don't care. don't feel bad, try to see skin doctor, oh 1 more thing try to use pro-active.i think it might work, worked for 1 of my friend.

Reply:Yes, I would and there are guys out there that would date a girl with acne scarrs. You are probably still young and those scarrs will go away when you are about 20 or 23 depending on your body. Guys who won't go out with you or even make fun of you cause of them are very immature and shallow, and you don't need them kind of guys in your life anyway. Just hold on a little longer and your skin will be fine. One big part of acne is chocolate and greesy foods, like fast food and fried foods. Try cutting down on that and see if it helps but other than that, guys don't really care so don't feel all bad about it.
Reply:For me, it would depend on how bad the scars are. If the Acne scars were really bad, I probably wouldn't go out with a girl whose face that was really messed up. If it was just minor scars, I might consider going out with the girl. I look at a girl from the waist up, so the face is very important. Try using Clearasil or some other type of acne product to help clear up some of your scars.
