I have acne scars and dark circles...would bare escentuals/minerals work??

i have dark circles (bc im anemic) and some freckles. i also have some acne scars from when i had cystic acne. i cannot use sheer make up, so im afraid to try sheer powders,e tc. i also have oily skin, after 30 min my face starts getting shiny. i currently use MAC studio fix which is heavy on coverage and perfect in that sense. i'd like something more natural looking as well as good for my skin. does anyone have a smiliar skin type as me that uses these new sheer make up products? i want to know about the coverage and how oil on my face would react and what not, thanks!

you culd try putting on smashbox photo finish primer on first before your make-up so it would helps your makeup staying on longer.... any minerals make-up would work and look natural because it would help hide those flaws on your face like bare essentuals mineral veil...

becareful and make sure you look at the ingrediants list and be sure you arent allergic to them... GOOD LUCK :)
Reply:I would be concerned that the bismuth in the bare escentuals/bare mineral products might cause an issue for your acne.





I switched to kms mineral essentials to avoid the bismuth. I love how it covers and how it absorbs oil especially when used with the mineral veil. It is a natural cosmetic and has healing properties so it is good for your skin too. Being a mineral foundation it also will not clog your pores.

Reply:Definitely kms minerals. They have a very nice brush set and you will want to use the concealer brush to best cover the scarring.
