my acne is starting to get a lot better but all that is left is the acne scars. they are starting to fade but very slowly. and i want them to fade faster because during the winter my acne scars turn blue or purplish because of the cold. so does anyone noe anything that could get rid of this acne scars with out using surgey and wat should i do about the scares when the turn blue/purpulish?????

unfortunatly scars will never completly go away (sorry) but there is things that you can do to help with the discoloration and to smooth them out a bit the number one thing i could recommend is micodermabrasion, while it is expenisve it does help and it will also help get rid of existing acne and prevent future acne, most spa's have an esthetician that can perform it or you'll have to go to the dermatologist. gd luck!

Try Neutrogena's Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel. You use it once a week, cover the areas where there are scars, leave it on for 10 minutes then wash it off.
Reply:It takes time for scars to fade. I use clinique post blemish formula cream. I had bad acne scars and this help reduce the appearance of the scars.
