Home remedy for acne scars?

I have scarring from acne that is fairly prominent on my cheeks although it can be covered with makeup it is a nuisance and makes me somewhat self-conscious that people can see the scarring. Does anyone know of any home remedies that can help make the scarring less visible or get rid of it completely without medical treatment?

Try comfrey. it can be bought in ointments or you could make tea and wash your face with it. It's very good for scarring in general and I can vouch for it's effectiveness in treating burns and scars- though I have used it on other kinds of scarring, I suspect it would work the same way.

Reply:raw unpasteurized apple cider vinegar


use this apple cider vinegar for rejuvenating results. first, wash the skin in warm water, no soap. next, apply a wrung out hot water soaked cloth to the face for 3 minutes, then remove. soak thin cloth in warm vinegar water 2 tbsp per cup of water and again apply to face. cover the vinegar soaked


cloth with a towel wrung out in hot water, relax and lie down for 10 minutes or more, if possible with feet elevated above head. remove both cloths and gently rub skin upwards with towel or small loofah face pad.





this rub removes the hundreds of dry skin scales. you can repeat this weekly or as needed. your skin will look youthful and beautiful..


i also drink the vinegar, 1-2 tablespoons in water with honey in the morning..and i use the vinegar water as a toner 2 times daily..
Reply:Honestly, not sure about any home remedies, other than washing your face twice a day to reduce outbreaks. Most effective treatments are medial, though if your acne scarring is red, it will reduce with time. Might not be the information you were hoping for. Soz
