I am currently using acne products by doctor related to acne breakout. I have been using it for months and it really does work and I have less breakout now. The products that I am using are Differin (adapalence) cream, minocycline, and clindamycin phosphate. My face does improve and has less breakout, however, acne scar from the past become more visible. What should I do? Would it go away or should I go to the doctor again because I don't want the scar in my face forever. Help please.
Would acne scar go away on its own or should I do something about it?
It'll eventually go away some take a few months, others up to a year. It always fades though.

If the scarring is bad it probably wont go away on its own. I think microdermabrasion is good for acne scarring, but you should really just talk to your dermatologist about it.
Reply:scars are scars, its damaged tissue and will not go away, it will lighten in time, become less visible, but still be there, I'd conduct web searches on the matter if I were you
Reply:It depends on the type of "scar". If you're just having the red skin discolorations those will go away after a while, your skin just has to fully heal. However, if you have poc scars (like little holes) those may stay and microdermabrasion could perhaps help the appearance.
