Can laser remove acne scar and how safe?

my son had severe acne


dermatologist put him on docutane course


acne errupted then disappeared...cured..no new acne spots..but..


old spots left scar or red pimples


dermatologist wants him to have laser sessions


Is that safe? is it benefiial? my son will do anything to decrease the scars...me too..i am willing to spend or do anything for him


i there a solution? he is davastaded coz of the scars
