Reply:Yes, you can use "Proactive", it just depends on if it works for you. I have had acne problems for awhile, and I have done it all to get rid of it. Unfortunately there are some scars on my face. You can get it lasered if you want, but there is a much cheaper way of getting rid of scars, "Retin- A". This is the key to getting rid of acne. "Retin-A" does many things, and comes in many ways such as: "Retin-A Micro" for youth, "Retin-A 0.1" which is the strongest, and "Retina -A 0.05" which is lesser strength. These products will peel away damaged skin, which causes your face to peel and feel itchy. You need to make sure you are exfoliating when on this product. "Retin-A' is by prescription only, but it is worth it. If you do get on this product the dermatologist will tell you to gradually work up to using it every day, then you will start to notice that your acne will not come back, it will keep those annoying cyst from forming too. Another thing, don't put this product on in the morning, the sun deactivates this product. If you are sixteen I recommend the "Retin-A Micro", it is not so harsh on your skin, and it doesn't make you peel all the time. I love this product, I use it every night. I hope this works for you!
