I have a job interview tomorrow and i have lots of Acne Scar. Help!?

Do you think i cannot get the jobs because of my Acne Scar.

I have a phone interview two days ago for the same job and now they want an in-person interview.

NOw i am worried about my acne scar cause there is lots!

Help!

Also about the in-person interview will they ask me the same thing that they ask over the phone interview. If not does anybody know what will happen.

Also i am thinking of wearing a short sleeve dress shirt with a black open front sweater with it. Do you think it is appropriate. It is for a Administrative clerk job. (I don't have any nice long sleeve and it is too late to buy one)

hank you for all your answer.

They can not turn you down for a job because you have acne scars. If you are worried wear a little makeup.

Also, you should always wear a suit to an interview

Don't worry too much about the acne. If you know what you're doing maybe you could use some kind of makeup, but if you don't I wouldn't, because you don't want to draw more attention to it. No one is going to think badly about you because you had acne, so don't fret about it too much. (This isn't a date....)

The sweater with the shirt should be fine as long as the sweater is nice, and is CLEAN - black will show cat hair or dandruff or whatever.

Be proud of yourself, self-confident without being arrogant, and do your best. They'll probably ask you some of the same questions and some different, but by now you should know pretty much what they're looking for.

Good luck!
Reply:I think the dress shirt is fine, as long as there are no stains or rips and it looks professional. And with dress pants or a skirt (of appropriate length). NO jeans.

The purpose of an in person interview is to get a sense of your personality and if you would fit into the work environment. They want to be sure you will make an effort to dress appropriately, if you smile freely and speak with confidence. They dont want someone stiff, sloppy, rude, or cold. Be sure to smile, make eye contact, listen and nod, and speak clearly.

Also, try to think of some questions to ask about the job before you go. Company background, their goals as a company, what your duties might entail. That shows interest in the position. If you had a question ready, and the interviewer already gave out the info before you got to ask, then let them know that they already answered all your concerns.

As for the acne scars, do try make up to cover. Use a concealer on spots, then let dry and use a foundation. Be sure to blend well around your jaw line, so that it doesnt look like a mask. Also, dont try to pile it on because that is not flattering either. After concealer and foundation, try to bring some focus to your eyes, by lining them and using natural shades of eyeshadow. Most likely, you will be much more scrutinizing of your scars than they will. they probaly wont even notice because they are there to get a sense of who you are and not your physical flaws. So relax and do your best! good luck!
Reply:Well I have scars as well and I just wear makeup to cover it up. Get a good concealer and put it on the scars, then use a foundation (I use mac). also my scars are mainly on my cheek so i dust a little mac bronzer on it and voila no one ever knows! also put a little color on ur lip. I would also suggest you wear a pencil skirt, heels, and a button up shirt with stud earrings. Dont wear any huge jewelry or anything, stay professional
