Acne scars?
As long as they're not too bad or deep you can go to a store or beauty supply and buy any product with glycolic acid. Glycolic acid sloughs off layers of dead skin cells and helps your skin to grow healthier and faster. One thing you need to look for is a strong formula ... you'd be better off going to a Beauty Supply and asking them for a strong glycolic product. You can actually buy pure glycolic acid and do a "peel" at home ~ I have seen these work wonders. You do need to know that it does cause a slight burning of the skin and causes a lot of peeling for about a week or so. Salons and beauty schools can also do a professional "peel" that goes a lot deeper and does a lot more. (Beauty schools sometimes do these procedures really cheaply and safely.)
We owned a beauty salon for many years and this is pretty much the best stuff out their for resurfacing your skin other than going to a doctor. We had a cosmetician at our salon who did these peels a lot and I saw amazing results! I use a glycolic face cream and people always compliment my skin and tell me I look younger than I am! Please remember that these can only do so much though ... if your scars are deep you may have no other choice, but to see a dermatologist. I know you said something "cheap", but if you really want something that works and isn't just a gimmick ... it's not going to be really cheap. There's no way around that unfortunately.
Good luck and do this safely! =)

Reply:Olay has some kind of fading peel for acne that's supposed to decrease scarring. Haven't tried it though or else mederma zaps just about any kind of scar which I have tried-just not on acne scars.
Reply:since im pregnant, the pregnancy has caused a total breakout! i use neutrogena rapid clear and it actually works in the 8 hours like it says it does, it reduces the size of the acne and it also helps clear the spots BUT i also use neutrogena on the spot acne treatment and it gets rid of the spots too, i switch up on the two i use one during the day, the other one at night or vise versa but together they costed me around $18 (+ tax) but it may be cheap on amazon.com
