I have many red acne scars on my face. is there a good way to remove these scars or fade them without getting surgery?

Reply:A combination of Retin-A (over the counter med), acne scar Scarzone (available at Walgreens), and Nuetrogena Acne Fade Peels, have completely eliminated my acne scars.
Retin-A may make you break out a little for up to two months before it starts to work like a miracle. Use it every night, use Scarzone for several hours every day, and use Nuetrogena facial peels about once a month.
It took about 4 months for my acne scars to disappear.

the order of the ingredients are such that the largest percent items are at the beginning of the list
it is possible to find Cocoa butter which is just 100% cocoa butter but there are some that say too much is bad for you
what cocoa butter is effective for is keeping the skin elastic
wash your face with warmer water and rinse it with cooler rinsing off all the soap is more important than whatever soap you use
and look into using one of those rather abrasive facial scrubby washing pads to use with your soap
another thing thing you might do
is search the net for a salt scrub facial recipe that uses sea salt
such as:

that will help prevent those places you disturb from turning into problems in the first place
in British countries they sell sulpher in pharmacies and a pinch of sulpher added to a bottle of your moisturizer or whatever helps like salt does, but here in America AMA says people have allergies to it so we cant buy it but it is legal to have it if someone can get it for you - thats what I used

I used cocoa butter and I broke out in small pimples...my friend suggested I buy Fillipino blck licorice soap !! FANTASTIC ....it got rid of her acne and for me it gaved me an amazingly smooth even tones skin .

does anyone know if Palmer's cocoa butter formula works on reducing the colour of acne scars? does it make existing acne worse? should i mix it with tea tree oil or some other acne moisturizer just to make sure? i am working really hard to clear up my face..and i just dont want it to get any worse..those of you with acne can understand.

And they're almost completely faded, and i haven't had one pimple since, it says it takes about two weeks to work but it is definitely worth it. I got it for 15 dollars at wal mart, so it's not bad in price either. Everyones skin is different so i don't know how it'll react with yours but it's worked wonders on me and is definitely worth a shot, it also claims to even out skin tone which is what i think you're going for. As for the cocoa butter i haven't personally tried it but used to use it for stretch marks from when i was pregnant and yeah it is greasy i couldn't imagine putting it on my face.

Its just as bad as vitamin e. It is going to clog your pores unless it says it won't. Are you treating existing acne yet? Try proactive or some kind of regiment to keep your skin clear. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER and wash your face with cold water to keep pores tight. Finally, once you are cleared up you can save up and get lazer treatment to treat existing scars. Either that or find a high end - clarins - bleaching cream.

Reply:Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula was recommended to me by my physical therapist to use when massaging neck and shoulder muscles. I am not acne prone, but I have noticed that I do have minor break outs when I use it daily.
Wanted to add...........Try a good quality aloe vera. This stuff is amazing at healing skin and it is inexpensive. You can get it in vitamin and health food stores. I have however seen it in Walmart, but Im not sure about its purity.

However, there are many steps you can take to help minimize scars. Because of this, you need to research the various methods available to help yourself look better.
Concentrate on being a thoughtful person and while you're doing that, also take advantage of all the help that is available

The best thing to attract a girl is to come across as confident. Don't seem to eager or desperate. (Not saying you do hehe)
Most girls LOVE a guy who can keep his cool under pressure and doesn't seem to care what other people say or think. (with the exception of her hehe)
Don't let your acne or scar problem rule over you.... you are NOT your scars. hang in there.... when the time is right, you'll find her. ;)

Can you get tattoos over acne scars??
I have pretty bad scaring from acne on the backs of my shoulders...Last night on Miami Ink, some girl got a tattoo across her back to take the attention away from pretty bad scars that she had from Chicken Pox. Anyway, my scars arent as bad as hers, so I got to thinking, can tattoos go over scars? If i got one pretty big tattoo on each shoulder blade maybe this would "hide" the scars I have. Thanks for any input you guys can give me!!
